Racing and Sports Tips – 18/07/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Goulburn Thoroughbred Bet (2:40pm AEST)
Cannon Run (Race 4, No.1) is a 3 year old with plenty of promise.

This High Chaparral gelding was a winner on debut before getting caught well wide last start.

Steps out to the mile which should benefit him when you consider that he likes to settle towards the middle of the pack.

Gets the claim with gun apprentice Blaike McDougall on board who has ridden him in both of his starts to date.

One to beat.

Confidence Level: 4-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.40

Pinjarra Harness Bet (6:37pm AEST)

Rycroft (Race 8, No.5) should be at peak fitness now four runs back from a spell.

From gate number five he will go forward and should find the lead and from the lead over the sprint trip the Wolf expects him to be very hard to beat.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $3.50

Traralgon Greyhound Bet (5:26pm AEST)

It’s My Secret (Race 6, No.5) is coming off a dominant maiden win.

It was his first run over 525m and he showed great staying ability by extending his lead down the back straight to win by four.

Tonight he gets a chance to go back to back and if he can repeat the 30.53 he ran last time out he will be winning by just as much this time around.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $4.20

NRL: Roosters v Sharks (7:00pm AEST)

The Roosters have lost four straight and six of their last seven. Against Top 6 teams they are 0-5 with three double digit losses.

It is surprising Cronulla are as long as they are considering the state of the Roosters and The Wolf says to back Sharks -4.5.

Home teams who post points and lose the week prior are typically terrible bets. Favourites are also very much the way to play at this time of year. Stick with the Sharks.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.91
