Racing and Sports Tips – 18/4/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet is undefeated over the track/distance, and Damien Oliver has won on her three times.

Sandown Thoroughbred Bet (2:10pm AEST)

That Rings A Bell (Race 3, No.2) was very impressive last start after she was slow out but managed to charge home from out wide to score first up.

She’ll be much improved off that run and stepping up in distance to 1400m appears to be an ideal progression for her.

Undefeated over this track and distance and The Wolf is expecting her to ensure this record remains with a win here.

Damien Oliver has won on her three times and The Wolf is supremely confident the pair will score their fourth win together here.

Sandown Thoroughbred Bet (3:20pm AEST)

Big Hammer (Race 5, No.5) has progressed nicely through two runs this prep and looks hard to beat third up from the break.

He’s undefeated over 2100m and off his last start placing at Cranbourne over 2025m he appears ready to breakthrough.

Regan Bayliss takes the reins which is a positive and from the wide draw he should look to settle him midfield with cover.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $4.80

NBA: New Orleans @ Portland (12:35pm AEST)

Anthony Davis put on a clinic in Game 1 with 35 points and 14 rebounds on 14 of 26 from the floor.

The Blazers do not have an answer for him.

Nurkic cannot defend him beyond the free throw line and Ed Davis does not know which way to look.

The harsh reality for the Blazers is that Davis will get his, but they cannot allow Rondo to register 17 assists.

His effectiveness means that Lillard will also have to play defence – a factor that is sure to affect his offensive production.

It all makes the 6.5 start to the Pelicans look significantly big, especially when you consider that the Pelicans are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 and 19-7 ATS in their last 26 following a ATS win.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $1.92

Cranbourne Greyhound Bet (7:48pm AEST)

Property Power (Race 4, No.6) is two from three at the track/distance and has enough early speed to overcome Box 6.

He has a personal best time of 17.76 here and will take plenty of beating tonight.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $2
