Racing and Sports Tips – 17/4/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet ran very well first up at Sandown and should be able control things from the front at Geelong today.

Geelong Thoroughbred Bet (3:30pm AEST)

Almalita (Race 5, No.1) ran very well first up at Sandown where she led them up only to be run down in the shadows of the post.

A winner out to 2540m, the extra trip today will suit and Beau Mertens should be able to control things from the front.

This really does look her race.

Hawkesbury Thoroughbred Bet (12:45pm AEST)

Oria (Race 1, No.2) began his career very well back in December with a terrific fourth placing on debut at Canterbury before going to Goulburn and winning comfortably.

He resumes here off the back of two excellent trials and this looks like an easy kill for him.

Look for him to go on to city class races before too long.

NBA: Miami at Philadelphia (10:05am AEST)

Wolfy was all over Philly in the series opener and what a performance it was from them.

Ben Simmons was one rebound away from a triple/double while the Belinelli/Ilyasova combination added 42 points off the bench.

The 76ers ran the floor at every opportunity and they will continue to do so with a bench that can both run and score.

The pace nullified the Heat’s use of Whiteside who managed just 2 points and played just 12 minutes.

The win streak now stands at 17 and The Wolf cannot see a way that the Heat bring it to an end in Philly.

The 76ers are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 following a double digit win and 12-3 ATS in their last 15 after scoring 100 or more.

Their offence is firing on all cylinders and it is their depth which will again ensure that they cover the spread with relative ease.

Back Philly -6.5 here.

Ballarat Greyhound Bet (4:37pm AEST)

Don’t Quote Me (Race 5, No.1) has won three from four at the track/distance and commands respect back to his favourite track.

He’s drawn to lead and can one better than his last start effort at Bendigo.

Ready to return to the winner’s circle.

Recommended Price: $3.40
