Racing and Sports Tips – 16/5/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf had winners at Sale and Tamworth on Tuesday, and has circled two excellent chances at Sandown on Wednesday.

Sandown Thoroughbred Bet (2:45pm AEST)

Fifty Stars (Race 5, No.2) is undefeated in two starts and looks well placed to make it three in a row here.

His last start win at Warrnambool was full of merit and if he brings that form here he’ll be winning.

He raced midfield that day at Warrnambool before showing his class to score by over a length.

He steps up in grade for this which is always difficult but the rise in distance to 1400m is in his favour as he gave every indication that he would be much improved over further.

Sandown Thoroughbred Bet (2:10pm AEST)

Creedence (Race 4, No.5) should be rock hard fit off his fourth placing in the VRC St Leger and if he can run up to that form here he’ll take beating.

The form out of that race has been franked by Rezealient and Runaway; the pair ran the quinella in the VRC St Leger and have both subsequently come out and placed second and third respectively in the Group 1 S.A Derby.

Creedence brings by far and away the best form into this race and with six runs under his belt since his debut he should be fit enough to see out the 2400m.

The booking of Michael Walker indicates to The Wolf that this galloper is ready to win and he is keen to be betting on him accordingly.

NBA: Cleveland @ Boston (11:35am AEST)

The Celtics are 14-4 ATS in their last 16 at home and remain undefeated at home in the playoffs (8-0).

The Celtics dominated Game 1 in the half court and The Wolf says that the Cavs will respond to that by looking the speed up the tempo.

This will prevent Boston from playing Horford, Baynes and Morris at the same time.

It makes for a significant change in game flow and The Wolf has labelled the Overs as a special!

The Over is 4-0 in the Cavs last 4 following an ATS loss and 5-1 in their last 6 when on 1 days rest.

It lines up perfectly with the Celtics trends in this spot.

Over is 10-1 in the Celtics last 11 following a double digit win and 10-2 in their last 12 games at the TD Garden.

The Wolf is shocked that the total will start lower than in Game 1.

Bendigo Greyhound Bet (5:32pm AEST)

Delaware County (Race 9, No.3) blew them away at the track last time out in a scintillating time of 28.42.

He has a consistent record at the track/distance (9:1-3-2) and looks a very strong chance of back to back wins.

He won from Box 3 last week and will be looking for a repeat effort tonight.
