Racing and Sports Tips – 15/08/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Scone Thoroughbred Bet (2:55pm AEST)
Nadacheva (Race 5, No.3) brings Saturday form to Scone on a Monday.

He is coming off a strong second on a very heavy track at Taree.

Both steps back in grade and gets more favourable conditions today.

His best results have come over the mile. He is well into his prep and The Wolf is expecting him to be in peak condition.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $4.00

Menangle Harness Bet (2:50pm AEST)

What a Curtainraiser (Race 2, No.2) hasn’t won a race yet in her career but is in a powerful stable and comes off a good second in a trial.

The Wolf expects her to improve and be very hard to beat at her first Australian start.

Confidence Level: 3-Chips

Recommended Price: $3.00

Bathurst Greyhound Bet (5:17pm AEST)

Golden Honour (Race 9, No.1) should have been named silver honour.

He is coming off 4 consecutive second place finishes but The Wolf says his luck will take a turn for the best.

The inside draw should help him avoid the early carnage and he has more than enough speed to finish over the top.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $3.50

NRL: Canberra v Melbourne (7:00pm AEST)

Round 23 finishes up with the match of the round, an absolute belter between Canberra and Melbourne.

There are arguably no two teams in better form than the Raiders and the Storm with massive finals implications at play here.

Both teams have been great betting propositions this year but The Wolf is sticking with Canberra +1.5.

Home underdogs off a 13-plus win cover at nearly 70% and the Storm do struggle on Mondays. Stick with the Green Machine.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.91
