The Wolf’s best bet is a very talented galloper jumper from the Aaron Purcell yard!

Two Hats (Race 3, No. 1) has put together a wonderful jumping record, having won three and finished runner-up twice from five career jumping starts.
He made his jumping debut in 2014, beating no less than Angelology in a maiden hurdle, before having three years off the scene due to injury.
He came back last year and won the JJ Houlahan Hurdle, as well as placing second in the Grand National Hurdle and the Brandan Dreschler Hurdle. Simply put, he is in a different class to his rivals here and The Wolf has no hesitation in labeling him a Five Chip Special.
Monarch Chimes (Race 5, No. 5) This race is a key lead up for the Brierly and Grand Annual Steeplechases at Warrnambool and The Wolf is backing star Kiwi jumper Monarch Chimes to make a victorious Australian debut.
A six year old son of prolific jumping sire Shinko King, he has won three of his four starts over hurdles in New Zealand and even though this is his steeplechase debut, the formula generally is that good Kiwi hurdlers make good steeplechasers over here.
His flat form in NZ prior to coming across the Tasman was excellent with a second placing last time out at Matamata, and his recent steeple trial at Cranbourne was excellent.
