Racing and Sports Tips – 15/3/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf is excited about the return of jumps racing & has circled one at The ‘Bool as his best bet of the day.

Warrnambool Thoroughbred Bet (2:40pm AEDT)

Hale Soriano (Race 2, No.5) earned a reputation as a perennial bridesmaid last season but when you go back through the form, he was constantly running into smart horses – All Well, Wish Come True, Two Hats, and Mujadale are just some of the horses who broke their maiden against this British bred gelding from the Darren Weir camp.

He will be fit enough for this, having had four flat runs and two hurdle trials, and he will never get a better chance to win one.

Pakenham Thoroughbred Bet (7pm AEDT)

Semari (Race 3, No.7) is a promising stayer from the Busuttin/Young stable, a team that excels in preparing horses to win over ground.

He broke his maiden in dominant style last time out at Ballarat after showing good form prior to that, and the step up from a mile to 2000m today looks suitable.

It wouldn’t surprise to see him go on to a race like the SA Derby.

NRL: Cronulla Sharks v St George-Illawarra Dragons (8:05pm AEDT)

All the statistics point to an unders (38) match here.

Under matches have been commonplace with 17 of the last 21 failing to break 38 points, with none of the last 10 at Southern Cross Group Stadium topping 37 points.

The Dragons surprised everyone by piling on 34 points against the Broncos, but won’t have the same luxury against the Sharks defence this week.

Meanwhile, the Sharks showed that their attack – in the loss against the Cowboys- is still a work in progress, with new recruit Matt Moylan still working on his combination with Chad Townsend.

Unders is The Wolf’s recommended play in this blockbuster.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $1.88

Sandown Park Greyhound Bet (8:07pm AEDT)

Zipping Captain (Race 4, No.7) is two from two at the track/distance and looks hard to beat here.

If he can ping the lids and get across from Box 7, he’ll take plenty of catching.

He has only finished out of Top3 twice in his 12-start career, and will be fighting out the finish once again tonight.

Recommended Price: $3.70
