Racing and Sports Tips – 15/2/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet made a strong debut at Sandown, and with natural improvement from her first up run she should prove hard to beat at Pakenham tonight.

Pakenham Thoroughbred Bet (6:30pm)

Princess Arabella (Race 2, No.10) made a very good debut recently at Sandown and can follow up on that performance with a breakthrough win at Pakenham this evening.

From the Richard Laming stable, the daughter of staying influence Ekraar wasn’t fancied on debut but did an excellent job to only get beaten just over three lengths by the talented Hermanito.

Her pedigree suggests that the step up to a mile today will suit, and with natural improvement from her first up run she should prove hard to beat here.

Pinjarra Thoroughbred Bet (8:15pm)

Press The Petal (Race 8, No.4) has been terrific in both runs back from a spell, having won first up before a close up placing second up, both at Ascot, and stepping out to 2000m today back in provincial grade she looks well placed to record yet another win.

Her trainer Adam Durrant dominates staying races in the West and it would be no surprise to see her win here then continue her progress through to Saturday grade and perhaps even beyond.

Brodie Kirby claims the 3Kg which will be all important and from barrier six he can afford the mare every possible chance in the run, sitting about midfield off what looks a genuine tempo.

NBA: Golden State @ Portland (2:35pm AEDT)

With Houston putting pressure on the Warriors for the top seed in the West we are set to see the best of the defending champs in the coming weeks.

They will know the importance of claiming the top seed and home court advantage which is great news for the neutrals.

It’s bad news for the Blazers who are fully aware of the ability of the Warriors.

The Warriors have won 11 straight against Portland including 5 straight at the Moda Center.

The Wolf says we will be making our biggest bet of the day on the total.

The Over is 8-1 in the last 9 meetings in Portland not to mention 13-3 in the Blazers last 16 following a double digit loss at home.

The Wolf says he could reel off stat after stat… The Over is 11-5 in the Warriors last 16 against West teams with the Over 10-3 in the Blazers last 13 inter-conference matchups.

All you need to know is… Over 226.5 points!

Sandown Park Greyhound Bet (8:07pm AEDT)

Main One (Race 4, No.2) has an impressive record at the track/distance, with three wins and two minor placings from six starts here.

He was an eye-catching heat winner here on Sunday and looks well placed jumping out of Box 2.

If he jumps cleanly, he should prove tough to reel in.

Recommended Price: $3.40
