Racing and Sports Tips – 14/4/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet is a very talented galloper from the John Price stable who won with authority at Sandown last start.

Caulfield Thoroughbred Bet (4:05pm AEST)

William Thomas (Race 7, No.6) was dominant at Sandown last start when winning by over a length and The Wolf is confident of a repeat of that performance here.

He’s drawn well and The Wolf is very keen to be betting on him to win.

He has a stack of upside and should be winning this on his way to bigger and better things.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $5.50

Randwick Thoroughbred Bet (1:15pm AEST)

Just Dreaming (Race 4, No.1) finished a length behind Daysee Doom in the G1 Coolmore Classic last start and if she runs up to that performance here she’ll take beating.

She’s drawn wide which appears to be a concern, but she has more than enough early speed to cross from out wide which is exactly what The Wolf is expecting her to do.

Hugh Bowman on indicates to The Wolf that she is the top pick from the Kris Lees stable and if she brings her best he expects her she’ll be winning.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $3.70

NRL: Canberra v Parramatta (7:30pm AEST)

The Raiders finally got on the board with a determined 26-10 victory over the Bulldogs last week.

The Green Machine had plenty of injuries to deal with during the match and will take plenty of confidence into this clash against the Eels.

Jack Wighton, Blake Austin and Josh Papalii all come back into the 17.

The Eels have suffered a massive blow in the lead-up to the clash against the Raiders, with their best forward Nathan Brown ruled out with an ankle injury.

The Wolf thinks the Raiders might have turned the corner in their gutsy win over the Bulldogs last week.

It’s also a tough ask for the Eels coming up against this big Raiders pack without Nathan Brown.

The Raiders have won three straight and nine of the last 11 meetings, and should keep the Eels winless for the season.

Canberra to cover the 3.5.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $1.91

The Meadows Greyhound Bet (9:20pm AEST)

Dyna Zesty (Race 7, No.1) has won two of her last three starts and will get all of the favours out of Box 1.

She won here two starts back by 4 lengths and has a good record at the track/distance.

She should live up to her zesty name and prove too strong.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $3.20
