Racing and Sports Tips – 13/10/17

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet toughed it out from in front last time out and will adopt similar tactics at Cranbourne tonight.

Cranbourne Thoroughbred Bet (8:30pm AEDT)

Open House (Race 6, No.10) is a lightly raced mare who on resuming led from the get go to score by under a length.

She toughed it out in front that day and if she’s taken any improvement from that, she’ll prove tough to beat here.

Expect for McNeil to take her straight to the front and make every post a winner from there.

Cranbourne Thoroughbred Bet (9pm AEDT)

The Greg Eurell-trained mare, Falika (Race 7, No. 5) was dominant in winning last start at Flemington over 1800m.

She won with plenty up her sleeve that day and The Wolf is confident she’ll put in another big performance here.

She holds a 100% win rate over this course and distance and The Wolf is confident her perfect record will remain intact here.

NFL: Philadelphia @ Carolina (11:25am AEDT)

The 4-1 Eagles will travel to Charlotte to take on the 4-1 Panthers in a Thursday Night Football blockbuster.

The Eagles defence limited the struggling Cardinals to just 31 rushing yards in their dominant 34-7 victory in Week 5.

Quarterback Carson Wentz threw for 4 TDs in the 27-point win and has now thrown for 10 touchdowns over the first five weeks of the season.

Meanwhile, Panthers QB Cam Newton has started to hit his straps after a sluggish start to the season.

Newton has thrown for over 300 yards and a combined six touchdowns in his last two outings (@Patriots and @Lions).

What’s even more impressive is that both of those performances were on the road.

Eagles RT Lane Johnson has been ruled out, swaying this one in favour of the Panthers.

The Eagles are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games, while the favourite is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 games between the Panthers and Eagles. T

The Wolf is sticking with the Panthers to cover the field goal start.

Bendigo Greyhound Bet (4:27pm AEDT)

Invasion (Race 5, No.5) is flying of late, with three wins and three seconds in his last six starts.

He’s usually quick to ping the lids and should be able to avoid trouble with his good box speed.

He’s now won eight of his 15 career starts and should add another win to his tally this afternoon.
