Racing and Sports Tips – 12/6/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet is from the Kris Lees stable and looks ideally placed to break through at Quirindi.

Quirindi Thoroughbred Bet (1:15pm AEST)

Nais Ko (Race 2, No.4) is a beautifully bred filly from the Kris Lees stable and she looks ideally placed to break through here at Quirindi.

Last start she ran a creditable fourth at Port Macquarie, running fourth when attempting to lead all the way, but only getting beaten less than half a length.

Aaron Bullock retains the ride, and he should be able to control the tempo and prove too good.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $2.80

Corowa Thoroughbred Bet (3:20pm AEST)

Kym Hann is a very astute trainer and he looks to have a nice horse in his hands in Like To Think So (Race 6, No.3).

Last campaign he won on debut before running creditable races at the Victorian provincials, he has since spelled and trialled well, and interestingly Harry Coffey makes the trip up to ride him – his only ride for the day.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $2.40

MLB: LA Angels @ Seattle Mariners (12:10pm AEST)

These two sides met here in early May and the Angels won the series 2-1 in a close affair.

Both sides also come into this series in-form.

The Angels are 7-3 in their last 10 and the Mariners have won 8 of their last 10, including 4-0 at home.

So the Wolf doesn’t mind the Mariners underdog odds for this game.

Angels starter Andrew Heaney hasn’t been as good on the road (4.43 ERA) as his home form.

Wade LeBlanc has looked solid in his last few starts at this venue.

So the Wolf will take on the Mariners in this one.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $1.97

Horsham Greyhound Bet (4:39pm AEST)

Cavatron (Race 6, No.8) has been very consistent of late, with two wins and two minor placings from his last five starts.

He’ll be suited by the wide draw and will look to make his mark mid-race.

Proven performer and looks hard to beat here.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $3
