Racing and Sports Tips – 12/1/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet has won three of her last four and looks an outstanding talent on the rise from the Spackman Yard.

Wagga Thoroughbred Bet (1:35pm)

O’ So Hazy (Race 2, No.5) has won three of her last four and looks an outstanding talent on the rise from the Spackman Yard.

She’s been very well weighted for an in-form horse having only been allocated 54kg and with Brooke Sweeney taking the reins looks the clear top pick.

Expect she’ll fly through and lead from the draw and get the job done from there.

Recommended Price: $2.10

Muswellbrook Thoroughbred Bet (2:25pm)

Star Boy (Race 2, No.1) has done everything but win across his short four-start career but once again he finds himself in an excellent race to win.

He’s improving at each start and stepping up to 1280m off his last start run at Scone looks to be a positive.

Madame Pauline who beat him last start has since franked that form by winning again at Scone and The Wolf is confident that if Star Boy brings his best form he’ll take running down.

BBL: Renegades v Stars (7:40pm AEDT)

The return leg of the Melbourne Derby is here and the Melbourne Stars have still not won a single game this season.

This, as well as the unavailability of the Australian international players, will be the backdrop in which the Melbourne Renegades and the Melbourne Stars face off for the second time this season.

The Stars hold an 8-4 advantage over the Renegades in past encounters but things appear to be changing of late.

The Renegades have now won two out of the last three games against the Stars and are a much-improved unit than they were in past seasons.

This season of the Stars seems like one which is leading to a massive overhaul of the team and the players know it.

There is a resignation among them when they walk out and the Wolf feels they have lost all the fight in them.

The Renegades, on the other hand, are very much in the fight for the BBL title this year and have players playing to their full potential.

Despite the loss of Finch and White, The Wolf is sticking with the Renegades to do the double over their Melbourne neighbours.

The Meadows Greyhound Bet (7:49pm AEDT)

Ashton Utah (Race 3, No.1) has won two from his last four and having drawn the red here should make every post a winner.

Last start at Sandown he posted 29.92 and a repeat of that performance here suggests he’ll be winning.

The main danger is Madam Butterfly but having drawn poorly in box 6 he expects she’ll find trouble heading into the first turn.

He’ll be able to use his box speed to lead and from there take plenty of running down.
