Racing and Sports Tips – 11/7/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet has strong form lines and shapes as the one to beat with Hugh Bowman taking the reins.

Warwick Farm Thoroughbred Bet (3pm AEST)

Mr Haussmann (Race 5, No.3) finished a length behind Seahampton last start which looks to be a very good form reference moving forward for this.

Seahampton has subsequently gone on to win a smart metro race at Randwick and if Mr Haussmann can run anywhere close to that level here he’ll take beating.

He’s having his third run here since arriving from New Zealand and The Wolf is confident that he is fit, experienced and ready to win.

Hugh Bowman takes the reins here which is a plus and from the inside draw he shapes as the one they all have to beat.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $2

Warwick Farm Thoroughbred Bet (2:25pm AEST)

Sweet Scandal (Race 4, No.7) scored an impressive win over the 1250m last start and off that looks set to repeat that performance here.

She gets Blake Shinn on again which is a positive and from the inside draw she should be able to find herself in the lead after 100m.

She’s a filly who appears to be destined for bigger and better things and win here would stamp her claims toward a start on a Saturday in town.

She’ll make her own luck out in front and should have no issue handling the rise in distance.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $3.30

State Of Origin: Queensland v New South Wales (8pm AEST)

The Wolf is sticking with the home side to avoid the clean sweep and get the job done on Wednesday night.

Home underdogs have covered 4 of the last 5 Origins, while Queensland is simply a different beast when playing at Suncorp Stadium.

The loss of Ponga and Inglis is a blow, but Oates, Cherry Evans and Glasby are solid replacements and will take great pride in the jersey.

The +3.5 looks a nice start for a team that is playing with a chip on its shoulder.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $1.91

Cranbourne Greyhound Bet (9:52pm AEST)

Marlow’s Angel (Race 10, No.2) won over this track/distance by 4 lengths two starts back and looks well placed again tonight.

He’ll be able take up a prominent position out of Box 2 and will relish the drop in grade.

If he can hold out Tijuana Icon (Box 6), he’ll take plenty of catching.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $3.40
