Racing and Sports Tips – 11/2/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf is going the top weight to take out the Hobart Cup on Sunday.

Hobart Thoroughbred Bet (5:08pm)

Dee I Cee (Race 8, No.1) comes through by far and away the best form race and if he runs up that performance here he’ll go home the winner.

He placed second last start in the Listed Australia Day Stakes behind Cordero who prior to that win had won four in a row.

He beat home horses like Destiny’s Kiss, Vassal, Imperial Aviator & Montauk; all of whom would nearly be favourite to win here.

Corey Brown takes the reins which enhances The Wolf’s confidence and with even luck he’ll go home the winner.

Newcastle Thoroughbred Bet (4:55pm)

All Summer Long’s (Race 7, No.1) best form would put this field away and The Wolf expects he may have recaptured it.

Last start at Taree he placed over 1312m and The Wolf is confident that with the rise in trip to 1500m he’ll go home the winner.

His best form has seen him twice placed second behind subsequent Group 1 winner; Clearly Innocent, who was last seen finishing fifth in the Darley Classic at Flemington.

He gets in well at the weights with Van Overmeire’s claim and The Wolf is confident he’ll be returning to the winner’s stall here.

A-League: Western Sydney v Wellington (7pm AEDT)

This is a catch-up game for a Round 7 fixture that was postponed due to the surface at Spotless Stadium.

It presents the Wanderers with the chance to close the gap on the sides above them and put some space between themselves and the bottom 4.

A dominant first half against the Mariners allowed them to build a winning lead and The Wolf says they will make the most of a favourable schedule.

With matches to follow against Sydney FC and Newcastle, this becomes a must win for the Wanderers!

The Wanderers are undefeated in the last 7 matches between the two clubs and that streak will continue.

Wellington’s defence was embarrassing last week and their tally of 5 points away from home this season is a league low.

The Wanderers to come out with serious intent and have this one in the bag by half time.

Sandown Greyhound Bet (5:17pm AEDT)

Main One (Race 12, No.4) has two wins and two minor placings from five starts at the track/distance.

He’s finished runner-up in his past two starts and can go one better tonight.

Box 4 shouldn’t be a problem, with his good box speed, and 50% of his wins have come from the blue box.

Recommended Price: $3.20
