Racing and Sports Tips – 10/12/17

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet has won three from five in Hong Kong and has the services of the Magic Man to get him home.

Sha Tin Thoroughbred Bet (3:55pm AEDT)

Bravo Watchman (Race 2, No.3) is a winner of three from five in Hong Kong who should return to the winner’s stall with a victory here.

His last two starts he’s narrowly placed second, but both runs have been full of merit and The Wolf is confident that if he runs up to either of those performances he’ll take beating here.

Expect Moreira to settle him just behind the speed and peel out late to score over a course and distance he loves.

Confidence Level:

Werribee Thoroughbred Bet (4:15pm AEDT)

Night’s Watch (Race 6, No.9) was ultra-impressive last start, storming home in tough conditions to get the job done at Sandown.

He’s won two of his four starts this prep and has demonstrated his versatility on all types of tracks.

Gets the gun draw for Dean Yendall and looks well placed to make it back-to-back wins.

Recommended Price: $2.50

A-League: Melbourne City v Central Coast (Sun 7pm AEDT)

The big news heading into this one is the exit of Tim Cahill from Melbourne City as the veteran goes in search of more game time for the lead in to the World Cup.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up but he is most likely to seek a club abroad.

Back onto the local scene where City are undefeated in their last 6 against the Mariners (5 wins).

They have been able to score at will against the perennial cellar dwellers and have had a player bag a brace in each of those wins.

That being said the Mariners are no longer an easy 3 points for their opponents and deserve their place in the top 4.

Paul Okon has done a stellar job instilling belief in his youthful squad and they are finally defending as a unit.

As we have seen over the last 18 months with Sydney FC – defence is the key to long term success.

It has been a very long time since the Mariners were able to maintain 3 clean sheets in a 5 game stretch but there is no reason why they cannot continue.

Under the lights at AAMI Park The Wolf says goals will be hard to come by and Under 2.5 goals is the play here.

Recommended Price: $2.20

Sale Greyhound Bet (7:46pm AEDT)

Midnight Hero (Race 7, No.8) is 1/1 at the track/distance and has five wins and three minor placings from her 12 career starts.

She’s quick to ping the lids and will have plenty of time to wind up out in Box 8.

Ultra-consistent and will be fighting out the finish once again.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $3.20
