Racing and Sports Tips – 10/2/18

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet won the G1 Myer Classic last prep and will put this field away with ease if she returns at a similar level.

Caulfield Thoroughbred Bet (2:50pm)

Shoals (Race 5, No.1) won the Group 1 Myer Classic last prep and if she has returned at a similar level to that she’ll take beating here.

The 1200m first up poses no threat as she was able to win the Group 2 Atlantic Jewel Stakes when resuming last prep.

Her form is simply outstanding and if she has improved off her last prep, she’ll put this field away with ease.

Recommended Price: $3.40

Caulfield Thoroughbred Bet (3:25pm)

Super Cash (Race 6, No.2) won this race last year and The Wolf is very confident that she will be able to win it again.

She beat home a very classy field in this race last prep which included I Am A Star, Chautauqua and Hellbent, who managed to frank the form by placing in the Group 1 William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley.

Her first up stats read for 5: 4-0-1 which is outstanding, and if she runs up to those stats here she’ll be right in the finish.

Expect Craig Williams to settle her just behind the leaders where she can get the gun run throughout and give chase upon turning for home.

Recommended Price: $6

A-League: Melbourne City v Sydney FC (7:50pm AEDT)

Sydney were clinical against Wellington and took full advantage of some inexcusable individual errors.

The pressure up top from Brosque and Bobo was relentless and The Wolf expects to see a repeat of such at AAMI Park.

Sydney have won the last 5 clashes between the two sides with 4 of those coming via a multiple goal margin.

Melbourne City have managed to find the net just twice in that stretch so look for their run of 6 consecutive games with at least two goals to come to an end.

Mauk and Budzinski combined well in the win against Brisbane but will not be afforded the same room against Buijs and Wilkinson.

Without McCormack, City cannot wait for the return of Fornaroli.

He took part in a friendly against Guangzhou and could make a surprise appearance in this one.

The Wolf thinks he will be held off for a return next week while O’Neill returns for the visitors after serving his one match ban.

Sydney are a superior side across the board and it would be criminal for us not to back them any time they are paying more than even money!

Recommended Price: $2.15

Cranbourne Greyhound Bet (9:52pm AEDT)

El My Girl (Race 12, No.5) has been knocking on the door, finishing in the placings in her last three starts.

She has the speed to lead and overcome a bumping duel jumping out of Box 5.

Placed twice at the track/distance and can be the first one home tonight over the express trip of 311 metres.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $4.60
