Racing and Sports Tips – 09/08/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Geelong Thoroughbred Bet (2:30pm AEST)
Red Ticker (Race 5, No.2) has been a length short of perfect this prep.

He kicked things off with a win at this track first up before having nothing go his way at Pakenham where he stormed home to just miss.

Las time out he was the bridesmaid again but today against a smaller, and much weaker field, he will put pay to them half way down the straight.

Has carried 60+ kg in all three runs this prep and ran on with a purpose so don’t let it deter you. Best of the day!

Confidence Level: 4-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.20

Northam Harness Bet (8:47pm AEST)

American Dynasty (Race 4, No.4) has raced outside the leader in his past two starts.

However, today The Wolf is expecting him to have cover in the run which should see an improved effort. He looks more than capable, placing in two of his three career runs and tonight has found a winnable race.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $3.50

Gawler Greyhound Bet (2:37pm AEST)

Park Glory (Race 8, No.7) may be a 100+ start veteran but he is flying at the moment.

He has won two of his last three with a second place finish splitting those victories.

Managed a 30.93 over this track/distance and his last run out was a 30.67 over the 515m at Angle Park.

On times alone he will win this one by multiple lengths.

Confidence Level: 4-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.25

Olympics: Men's 100m Backstroke (11:39am)

There is no denying that the current world champion Mitch Larkin looked very sluggish down the first 50m of semi-final 2 and that open the door for the two Americans.

Both Americans looked like they had a little more to give and with the 1st and 2nd fastest times in the world this year from their trials last month The Wolf is sticking with his pre-meet pick of David Plummer to take this one out narrowly.

Plummer to edge out countryman Murphy with Larking to grab bronze.

Confidence Level: 3-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $3.00
