Racing and Sports Tips – 05/09/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Benalla Thoroughbred Bet (2:30pm AEST)

The Wolf is backing the well-bred Anaheim (Race 4, No.10) to break his maiden today.

He ran a strong race on debut at Sale and will be suited by the step up in trip.

The sting out of the ground won’t be a problem and he commands plenty of respect out of the smart Busuttin and Young stable.

The one to beat.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.15

Pinjarra Harness Bet (4:58pm AEST)

Straight Thru Blue (Race 4, No.1) looks the leader from the pole and should be very hard to beat.

The short priced favourite Overboard Again is likely to have to race outside the leader which is why the Wolf thinks Straight Thru Blue is a very good chance in this race.

Straight Thru Blue was a very good winner Saturday night at Northam when doing all the work outside the leader.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $4

Ballarat Greyhound Bet (3:37pm AEST)

Bambalam Emma (Race 12, No.1) won’t find an easier race to break her maiden.

She has the advantage of Box 1 and will be able to take full advantage of it after the scratching of Lara’s Lament, who was most likely to shoot across from Box 8.

If she replicates her debut run, she’ll be saluting here!

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $3.50

US Open: Djokovic v Edmund (11:00am AEST)

Edmund has defeated Gasquet and Isner, both former top 10 players, to get to this stage.

Djokovic won their only encounter earlier this year in Miami 6-6 6-3 but Edmund did manage to break Novak’s serve.

The Brit has also been able to consistently create break opportunities throughout the tournament breaking Gasquet 6 times and the almost unbreakable Isner a further 3.

The Wolf has Edmund forcing at least one breaker and gives him a chance of catching Novak off guard and pinching a set.

Over 30.5 games is the way to go.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.83
