bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

The Wolf’s best bet won at Newcastle last start and looks to have a class edge here.

Gosford Thoroughbred Bet (2:35pm AEDT)

Newburgh (Race 3, No.8) returned in strong fashion last start, winning at Newcastle by just over a length after winning a Rosehill trial before resuming.

He placed behind the smart Menari on debut and looks to have a class here out of the powerful Hawkes stable.

In-form jockey Brenton Avdulla will need even luck from barrier 9, but if he can take up a good position, this All Too Hard colt should make it back-to back wins

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $3.30

Gosford Thoroughbred Bet (4:55pm AEDT)

Connoisseur (Race 7, No.4) finished runner-up at Hawkesbury when resuming last start and will strip fitter here.

He wasn’t far away in town last prep and should be suited by the step up to 1200m.

The Royal Blue look to have another winner here.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $2.75

MLB: Colorado @ Arizona (11:05am AEDT)

The Diamondbacks have been one of the best home sides all season as they held a 52-29 record.

They also have a major advantage with All-Star Zach Greinke on the mound.

He has a 13-1 record at home in 2017 with a 2.87 ERA.

The D-Backs have a 16-3 record in his 19 home starts as well.

But interestingly, the Rockies won two of those three games.

So they are a chance of an upset.

The Rockies are starting Jon Gray and he earned a win in his last start in Arizona.

The Rockies won 4-2 and he pitched 7 strong innings.

Overall, the Rockies are 4-0 in his last 4 away starts as well.

In the last 2 months of the season, Gray had an ERA of under 2.57 so he’s capable of keeping the Rockies in this one.

The Rockies have a good record in Arizona and the Wolf is predicting a very close game.

So he’s going for the Rockies +1.5 in a possible 5-4 scoreline in the Diamondbacks favour.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $1.70

Sandown Park Greyhound Bet (8:28pm AEDT)

Yarraman Ace (Race 5, No.4) is racing well of late, with two wins and a second in his last three starts.

He has a strong record at the track/distance (11:4-2-0) and just needs to avoid early trouble out of Box 4 to feature here.

Looks to have the class edge and should be fighting out the finish.

Confidence Level:

Recommended Price: $3.50
