Racing and Sports Tips – 28/07/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Gosford Thoroughbred Bet (1:25pm AEST)

Sugar Bay Leonard (Race 3, No.2) should kick off his campaign with a win.

This speedy three-year-old showed plenty of promise in his first two runs with two placings in town. The latest of those was full of merit as he was attacked in front.

He has tuned up for this with a slick trial win and with Hugh Bowman steering under the set weight conditions, he should chalk off the maiden without too much fuss.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.20

Penrith Harness Bet (8:18pm AEST)

Blow A Cloud (Race 5, No.2) is first-up in the Kevin Pizzuto stable fresh from arriving from New Zealand.

He has ran fast time over there and The Wolf thinks he is the best of the three stablemates in the field. Nathan Jack has been chosen to drive this one which is a strong lead in itself.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $3

Warrnambool Greyhound Bet (9:49pm AEST)

More Irish (Race 9, No.1) has been a long time between drinks but should handle this field.

She’s the class runner lining up and the inside box gives her the chance to lead. It’s the softest race she has found herself in for a while. That should see her winning.

Sounds simple enough!

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.50

NRL: Roosters v Broncos (8pm)

The Roosters +3.5 look an outstanding bet in this one against an underperforming and understrength Broncos team.

The Chooks have failed to get the job done all year but have looked close to a win and since Round 11 have been better in both attack and defence than the Broncos. With small home underdogs a good bet at this time of year, particularly off a couple of losses or a double digit loss, the Roosters seem set to end their losing streak on Thursday.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.90
