Racing and Sports Tips – 24/09/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Rosehill Thoroughbred Bet (3:15pm AEST)

High Mist (Race 6, No.3) is a colt on a steep upward spiral.

This son of High Chaparral always gave the impression he’d train on as a three-year-old. He was luckless behind Swear first-up (who lines up here too) before being served up an easy kill at Warwick Farm, albeit against older horses. Back to his own age here in the G3 Gloaming Stakes and out to 1800m looks an ideal recipe for him to record back-to-back wins.

Loses Hugh Bowman, who was actually suspended on this very horse last start, but Glyn Schofield should be able to get him home. Prized Icon looms as the danger but he has to bounce back from a disastrous Chelmsford Stakes finish.

Confidence Level: 3-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $4

Bunbury Harness Bet (10:22pm AEST)

King Lebron (Race 6, No.3) a highly-talented four-year-old.

From gate three, The Wolf expects him to lead up this field and win. Sound simple! Although up in class he will be racing in much better races than this over the coming summer.

Confidence Level: 4-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $2

The Meadows Greyhound Bet (7:58pm AEST)

Nitrology (Race 3, No.5) was brilliant at Geelong on debut.

This son of Jagger Swagger looks a very promising chaser. In the Jason Thompson kennel, he’ll get every chance to make the grade.

Expect him to win again, despite the squeeze draw.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.30

NRL: Melbourne v Canberra (8pm AEST)

The best bet in the match is the under 37.5 points.

The Storm hit under at a ridiculously high rate at home on the back of a strong defensive performance and they know it is defence that wins premierships. Finals unders are always a play.

Canberra have had a truly incredible season but it is hard to see it extending further than this Saturday night. Melbourne are just relentless and look lengths ahead of any of the remaining teams. They are so difficult to break down and in their current mindset and with their current energy they are just too strong. Off a break only adds to the confidence.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.90
