Racing and Sports Tips – 22/07/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Taree Thoroughbred Bet (12:50pm AEST)

Background Scalper (Race 2, No.3) can go back-to-back says The Wolf.

This three-year-old son of Tickets was transferred to Kris Lees before this preparation and just as significantly, returned a gelding. The results were instant. He impressed at the trials before going down fighting at Gosford. He then got the job done at Taree to break his maiden.

The margin was only narrow but he showed good fight and is looking for this extra trip now. Can win again.

Confidence Level: 3-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.90

Redcliffe Harness Bet (9:03pm AEST)

Mucho Macho Man (Race 6, No.1) has drawn ideally in barrier one.

He should have enough gate speed to hold the lead and they will find it very hard to get past him. He has done it tough outside the leader in two of his past three starts and tonight The Wolf says he will enjoy the pegs.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $7

Traralgon Greyhound Bet (8:38pm AEST)

American Monster (Race 6, No.5) is a very talented chaser.

You don’t boast a record of 15 wins from 30 starts without possessing an abundance of ability.

He’ll need a touch of luck from the draw but if he gets any, shut the gate punters.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.40

NRL: Broncos v Panthers (8pm)

For all the talk about Penrith being a dangerous finals contender, they are going awful and if Brisbane are anywhere near serious they should rout the Panthers. Brisbane -10.5 is the bet.

Brisbane could have beaten Souths by 50 last Saturday and they can put a fair score on a Panthers team that has forgotten how to defend. The Broncos cover big starts at home and Penrith are terrible travellers. This will be one-way traffic.

Confidence Level: 4-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.90
