Racing and Sports Tips – 21/09/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Warwick Farm Thoroughbred Bet (2:15pm AEST)

Missile Strike (Race 2, No.9) can crack his maiden here at each-way odds.

This colt in the Hawkes yard had no luck on debut at Hawkesbury before going down by a slender margin to Invincibella. That filly looks destined for black-type success. Back in third was Zenalicious who has since won in town herself.

Cocoexcel, Revolver and Suspenders will all take plenty of market percentage allowing for good odds about Missile Strike. Drawn to get every chance in barrier 1.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $5.50

Redcliffe Harness Bet (5:54pm AEST)

Witch Striker (Race 1, No.9) has finished fourth in her last two starts against tougher opposition.

The Wolf says tonight the drop in class should bring her into the race and although she is going to have to come from behind, the leader doesn’t look to be able to run good time making her a great each way bet.

Confidence Level: 3-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $10

Cranbourne Greyhound Bet (7:48pm AEST)

Fearless Flyer (Race 4, No.1) has won three of his past four.

This son of Fear Zafonic is really humming at the moment and from the cherry draw, looks set to chalk up yet another win.

Will ping the lids and none of these have the early toe to match him.

Confidence Level: 4-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.10

FFA Cup: Blacktown City v Sydney FC (7:30pm AEST)

Tonight we have a Sydney derby of a different kind as Blacktown City host Sydney FC in the quarter finals of the FFA Cup.

The Wolf is predicting a Sydney FC WIN and clean sheet.

Blacktown were involved in the most memorable match of the tournament this season, a 6-2 win over Sydney United 58, with 4 goals coming in extra time after the scores were locked at 2-2.

Antelmi was the star with a hat trick while former A-League regular Mitch Malia also got his name on the score sheet.

Sydney FC have surprised The Wolf with how they have looked but Graham Arnold’s intentions to build from the back have definitely worked thus far. The additions of Wilkinson and Zullo have paid immediate dividends as they have maintained clean sheets in both their wins to date.

The Sky Blues will control the tempo in this one and Blacktown will not have what it takes to break down the Sky Blues.

Sydney will play a very controlled tempo early on and will look to prevent Blacktown from playing on the counter by starving them of possession. Dimitrijevic and Ninkovic were brilliant against Perth and will again dominate in the middle of the park. Sydney FC 2-0.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips
