McCreery (Race 7, No.4) is expected to take out the Rowley Mile according to The Wolf.
This import has been a handy pickup for Chris Waller but he’s yet to really hit his straps. That probably happens next preparation but he’s beautifully placed here to take out this Hawkesbury feature.
He gave the flying King’s Officer 4.5kg two starts back to finish a narrow second, and you can forgive him last start as the step back in trip was against him. Back out to the mile and right down to the minimum, he should take this out.
This game seems impossible to pick a winner with both teams dreadfully out of form. The top play though is the under 41.5.
The Bulldogs are certainly the value in the match though as they just continue to eke out wins. Canterbury are an under team again and are focussing strongly on their defence while Brisbane can be contained by quality teams.
With a history of under matches, expect a low-scoring affair.
