Racing and Sports Tips – 14/08/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Sunshine Coast Thoroughbred Bet (4:57pm AEST)
Renesmee (Race 8, No.9) is better than a Class 1 mare.

David Vandyke is gradually starting to wheel out his army in Queensland and expect him to take the north by storm. This lightly-raced six-year-old has a stack of talent.

The last time we saw her she was set a monster task at Warwick Farm on a wet track but went down fighting. After two trials, she should be fit enough to handle these.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.30

Parkes Harness Bet (12:10pm AEST)

Rubbers Dilemma (Race 1, No.7) has only had the one race start where she made an early break.

She has had one trial since that run where she ran second. She showed enough speed in her first run to give The Wolf confidence to say that if she does everything correctly she should be winning.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $3

Sale Greyhound Bet (8:17pm AEST)

Soda Street (Race 9, No.1) is chasing at hattrick at Sale.

This bitch was a good winner this track/trip two starts back before backing that up at the ‘Bool.

From the inside draw she should be able to hold the inside before pinging clear on the home turn.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.50

AFL: Adelaide v Freemantle (4:40pm AEST)

Adelaide are coming off 82 and 138 point wins, and are looking for another big one. Adelaide -42.5 is the bet.

Fremantle have now lost six in a row, with no real hint that a win is just around the corner. Last weeks western derby against the Eagles was a fairly lifeless affair, and the Dockers are looking to the off-season. Adelaide have won 10 of their last 11 matches, and have been in awesome form over the last fortnight against the bottom two sides, beating Brisbane by 138 points and Essendon by 82.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.91
