Racing and Sports Tips – 13/08/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Rosehill Thoroughbred Bet (12pm AEST)
Extensible (Race 1, No.6) has no excuses now third-up and The Wolf is expecting her to win.

This lightly-raced mare in the Snowden yard resumed with a luckless second at Rosehill behind the race fit Elle Lou. She was then ridden confidently over 1500m but fellow leader Zelda zipped along and set it up for Harlem Lady to rip home from the back. Her effort to hold third was full of merit.

With Tree Of Jesse failing to impress this campaign, it looks her race to lose.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.60

Melton Harness Bet (8:30pm AEST)

Menin Gate (Race 7, No.4) a very talented four-year-old who will appreciate the sprint trip.

The Wolf is confident he can roll the other two big guns in the field. He is a good leader and tonight he is going to take some catching.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.60

Warrnambool Greyhound Bet (7:32pm AEST)

Maverick Thunder (Race 8, No.3) should be able to cross and lead here.

That gives him a big chance of causing an upset at odds. Zipping Vito will appreciate the inside box and is an improver but he doesn’t have the early toe to match The Wolf’s tip.

Have something each-way.

Confidence Level: 3-Chips

Recommended Price: $8

NRL: Dragons v Sharks (7:35pm AEST)

The compass is pointing towards a St George Illawarra cover.

Chips-in Saints at the big line this week. Huge home underdogs are a great angle at this time of year and there is a particularly big boost with the Sharks out of form and the Dragons getting three of their best players back.

Saints go great at Kogarah and usually lift for the local derby. Cronulla rarely touch up teams on the road when heavily favoured.

Confidence Level: 5-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.91
