Racing and Sports Tips – 10/08/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Sandown Thoroughbred Bet (4:30pm AEST)
Hellbent (Race 8, No.3) restarts his career under Darren Weir at Sandown.

He was a high-class three-year-old and The Wolf is excited to see him progress under Victoria’s dominant trainer.

The sky is still the limit for this son of I Am Invincible and he looks nicely placed here to kick off his spring tilt with a win.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.50

Redcliffe Harness Bet (5:27pm AEST)

Washington Flier (Race 1, No.7) can figure at each-way odds tonight.

Last start he got way out of the back but made good steady ground late and tonight from the leader’s back The Wolf is confident he can outsprint the favourite in the sprint lane and get us the chocolates.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $6.50

Cranbourne Greyhound Bet (9:56pm AEST)

Zoltina’s Legacy (Race 10, No.6) has an outstanding record and can win again.

This son of Sir Prize has won 21 of his 40 starts, placing in a further 13 of them. He has drawn in Box 6 but that should just mean a better price as he is just as deadly from the squeeze boxes as he is from the inside.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.70

Olympics: Women’s 200m Freestyle (11:20am AEST)

This race always looked to be a race between two of the big names of the games in Katie Ledecky and Sarah Sjostrom and the semi-final was no different.

The Wolf thinks that Ledecky was was holding back with her time of 1.54.81 which was just behind Sjodtrom’s 1.54.65. Happy to go with the American superstar here and there is a slight chance that we may see another world record.

Confidence Level: 3-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.70
