bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Hawkesbury Thoroughbred Bet (12:50pm AEST)
Grincheux (Race 1, No.5) finds a winnable race in the opener at Hawkesbury.

This three-year-old was truckloaded first-up at Newcastle, resuming a gelding. However, he never went a yard in the wet conditions and tailed out.

This track will still have some give in it but it will be far better than a Heavy 9. Blinkers go back on too. Has some class and can bounce back.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $4

Harness Bet TBA

Warrnambool Greyhound Bet (10:10pm AEST)

Jai Alai (Race 11, No.1) is knocking on the door to win again.

This son of Dyna Tron has placed in his last five outings. And the last four all from tricky boxes.

Gets the inside draw tonight and his 22.01s win at the ‘Bool in the past would blow this lot away.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.90

US Open: Del Potro v Wawrinka (10:30am AEST)

Four of the last five meetings between these two have gone to extra sets and The Wolf fancies another long battle here making the over 41.5 games an outstanding bet.

Del Potro has not dropped a set so far this tournament but Wawrinka has found his troubles going to five against Daniel Evans in the third before Ilya Marchenko pinched a set off him in the fourth. Wawrinka is arguably the best under pressure player on the tour and will not leave anything on the court.

Big-serving Del Potro and aggressive baseliner Wawrinka should see plenty of momentum swings and a long, thrilling affair.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.83
