Despite Brian Dozier going deep three times on Tuesday, the Twins went down to the Royals 11-5 in a high scoring contest. Back Over 8.5 runs.
Dozier seems to like playing the Royals, picking up a total of 10 home runs against KC this season. Unfortunately for Minnesota it still hasn’t helped them this year as the Royals hold a 12-2 record against them this season and it doesn’t look like changing anytime soon. Minnesota have dropped 16 of their last 18 overall and given up at least 11 runs in three of their last four. If that trend continues, the Royals should cover the total run mark by themselves. There is a laundry list of over trends including 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Minnesota between the two sides. KC in particular love playing to the over, going 8-1-1 in their last overall. If Santana throws another poor start for the Twins, this one could get ugly early on.
