Racing and Sports Tips – 07/07/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Hawkesbury Thoroughbred Bet (12:48pm AEST)
Come Into My World (Race 2, No.2) has his issues but also a stack of talent.

He’s now a late four-year-old but we’ve only seen him once, where he was run down after giving plenty of cheek. Was tipped straight out. Trialled horribly at Newcastle back in March before trainer Alan Kehoe gave him another three month spell. Stepped out in a Gosford trial recently and was back to his best, spacing his rivals.

From barrier 1 and with Tye Angland steering he should be able to lead and break his maiden.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.50

Penrith Harness Bet (6:15pm AEST)

Why Four (Race 1, No.7) has finally got a decent draw.

That should see him sit behind the leader who is a strong horse that will carry him into the race.

The Wolf thinks with the ideal run behind the leader as long as he gets a run he will be the one to beat.

Confidence Level: 3-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $7

Warrnambool Greyhound Bet (7:49pm AEST)

Bella Express (Race 4, No.6) should be too strong late for his main danger.

That main danger being Robyn’s Boy drawn the cherry. He’ll look the winner turning for home but will paddle late giving Bella Express the chance to sprint by.

Will need some luck from Box 6 but he is a dog with upside.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $3.80

MLB: NY Yankees v Chicago White Sox (10:10am AEST)

The Yankees will carry momentum into the third game of this series after putting up 20 hits and scoring nine runs in a 9-0 victory Wednesday. Back NY WIN.

New York had seven players with multiple hits on the night as the Sox pitchers just appeared to have no answers. It’s quite an impressive turnaround given they were 0 for 13 with runners in scoring position in game one.

The White Sox slump is real and they look nothing like the team that started the season on fire to lead the AL. Michael Pineda (3-7, 5.24 ERA) will take on Miguel Gonzalez (1-4, 4.88 ERA) with neither pitcher instilling much confidence in their fans this season although Pineda has looked the better of the two recently.

He managed to strike out 12 Rangers batters and allow only one run in his last start and prior to that he allowed just the single run from two hits against the Twins. Definitely signs of improvement there and that’s where the confidence comes from that the Yankees can get the business done here and claim the series against the White Sox.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.71
