Racing and Sports Tips – 06/07/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Canterbury Thoroughbred Bet (1:15pm AEST)
Seventhchic (Race 1, No.3) hit the line strongly on debut and it didn’t go unnoticed by The Wolf.

It was at Gosford but the form out of the race is very strong with Who Said It’s Easy and Fanning both running well in town since. He’s a month between runs but has trialled up impressively and the step out to 1200m suits.

Brenton Avdulla is riding as well as any jockey in the country at the moment and Chris Waller is so dangerous with his late season two-year-olds.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $6

Bathurst Harness Bet (7:10pm AEST)

Tulhurst Stacey (Race 6, No.2) has found a very winnable race and from the draw she should be very handy to the pace.

The Wolf expects her to have a good run in transit and she will have every chance to get over the top of them late.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $4.00

Cranbourne Greyhound Bet (9:12pm AEST)

Invictus Rapid (Race 8, No.3) comes out of a Group One final.

He only went down narrowly to Buck Forty at Wenty Park. Back to this company, he should have little trouble bringing up win number 13 in his 38th start.

Only bad luck beats him.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.80

MLB: Colorado Rockies v SF Giants (12:15pm AEST)

Runs will be at a premium in this one and the Giants should get home. Giants WIN.

Madison Bumgarner (9-4, 2.20 ERA) steps out to face the Rockies for the 25th time in his career on Wednesday as he looks to pick up victory number 13, going 12-6 with a 3.11 ERA against Colorado. He likes to hurt the Rockies from the other side of the plate as well, hitting four of his 13 career HR’s off the Rockies pitching staff. He went through a rough two game skid recently but bounced back to beat Oakland in his last start, even though he gave up four runs in 6.1 innings. He’s 1-0 with a 2.03 ERA this season against Colorado. The Rockies are currently losers of six straight contests and have scored a combined three runs in their last four losses. Even with Trevor Story back in the lineup Tuesday, they struggled at the plate and could only manage the one run in the 3-1 loss. Tyler Chatwood (8-4, 3.15 ERA) returns from the DL and has been much better than expected this year. In 85.2 innings, he’s given up just the six HR’s and has actually kept the ball in the park in his last six outings. That’s impressive for a guy who pitches at Coors Field for a living.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.45
