Racing and Sports Tips – 02/09/16

bet on racing and sports

Here are The Wolf’s best racing and sports tips!

Wyong Thoroughbred Bet (1:25pm AEST)

Sir Magic (Race 2, No.3) can build on his already impressive record.

This four-year-old has won two from three and kicked off this preparation with a sound win at Hawkesbury. He was $1.80 favourite so there is some case to be made that he was entitled to win easier. However, The Wolf is banking on plenty of improvement second-up.

Hugh Bowman jumps on too.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $2.40

Kilmore Harness Bet (8pm AEST)

Egodan (Race 5, No.1) produced a slashing run when flashing home into third in the Breeders Crown 4yo E&G final last Sunday.

He has shown in Sydney at Menangle that he can lead, race tough or be saved for a surge late and tonight from the pole he will have options and is the one they have to beat.

Confidence Level: 4-Chips

Recommended Price: $3

Geelong Greyhound Bet (9:11pm AEST)

Samsara Lass (Race 7, No.1)  is drawn to advantage in the cherry here.

This consistent bitch should be able to hold off the speed outside of her to find the rail and lead for a long way.

Her record this track/trip reads 15:5-3-1. Can improve on that further.

Confidence Level: 3-Chips

Recommended Price: $4.20

NRL: Bulldogs v Rabbitohs (7:50pm AEST)

The Wolf fancies Bulldogs in the final Friday night game of the regular season.

Canterbury enter with the pedigree while Souths enter with the form. The Bulldogs desperately need a win here to avoid the potential of falling to seventh on the ladder. Neither team offers a lot from a betting perspective but the Bulldogs definitely have more on the line here and the Rabbitohs are awful on a five-day turnaround not covering any of their last seven.

Confidence Level: 4-5-Chips

Recommended Price: $1.65
