Eastern Conference Finals Game 3
1. Boston @ Cleveland (10:35am)
The non-event that is the Eastern Conference Finals shift to Cleveland with the Cavs holding a commanding 2-0 lead. This series cannot end soon enough according to The Wolf. The Celtics spirit has been broken and they will now be without the best player and leading scorer – Isaiah Thomas. Boston have not been able to generate anything on offence. When looking at the numbers The Wolf says it is essential to look at the 1st quarter and 1st half as the Cavs have been able to completely switch off in the second half. The Celtics are averaging 18.5 1st quarter points and only 35 for the first half. Cleveland on the other had have dropped 30 or more in the first three quarters of both matches.
Boston’s lack of size leaves them vulnerable in the paint and the Cavs have taken full advantage. The scariest part is that Cleveland have been in second gear throughout the entire series. Brad Stevens men are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 after conceding 125+ in the previous game and they look set to concede just as many. They have had no answers on either end of the floor and the Cavs are intent on sweeping this series and making a statement to their rivals on the other side of the country. The Cavs are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 and they will coast to another big win. The Cavs will win by as many as they want!
