NBA Tips – 5th March

There was no shortage of value yesterday as The Wolf scored us winners at $4.00 and $3.75 to go with his ‘bet of the weekend’ winning by some margin. He now turns his attention to today’s action and is aiming to get us off to a winning week!

NBA Feature Previews

1. Philadelphia @ Milwaukee (12:05pm)
At one stage the Bucks were looking like a sure thing to host a playoff series but 4 straight losses has seen them fall to 7th in the East standings. One of the sides to leapfrog them are the 76ers who are brimming with confidence. They have won 9 of their last 11 and held 8 of those opponents to 102 or less. They continue to improve as a defensive unit and are up to 4th in defensive efficiency! They have both size and length across all 5 positions which is why they are so good defending the 3-ball. The Bucks are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 home games and 1-7 straight up in their last 8 against teams with a winning record. Teams have been successfully taking the path to the bucket away from Giannis and with Embiid in the paint The Wolf is sticking with Philly.
Tip: Philadelphia -1.5 ($1.92)

2. Brooklyn @ LA Clippers (1:05pm)
The Clippers delivered with a big win over the Knicks last time out and this match shapes as a carbon copy. The Nets will almost be trying to lose games down the stretch and are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games. The Clippers on the hand have been cover machines going 6-1 ATS in their last 7 and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 against East teams. They are making a charge for the playoffs and their bench will again get it done down the stretch. Montrelz Harrell is averaging 17 and 4 in his last 5 and is the sole reason they have been covering down the stretch.
Tip: LA Clippers -7 ($1.92)

3. New York @ Sacramento (1:05pm)
Sacramento are stuck on 19 wins with 3 other teams and The Wolf says they won’t be winning many more games down the stretch. The Knicks on the other had can play with freedom. They are 3 wins clear of everyone and 4 wins behind the next highest team. It basically means that they can keep winning without hurting their chances in the draft. It means we will see the Knicks play at a rapid pace down the stretch as their role players try to make an impression and increase their value for a potential off-season trade. The Over is 5-0 in the Knicks last 5 and 9-1 in their last 10 against West teams. Similarly, the Over is 6-0-1 in the Kings last 7 following a loss. This is the time for Bogdanovic and De’Aaron Fox to really learn their craft and they have done so combining for almost 33ppg in a 5 game stretch. Look for them to really run the floor.
Tip: Over 214.5 points ($1.91)
