NBA Tips – 25th November

Wolfy went 10-3-1 with his best bets on Thanksgiving eve and after a day with no NBA is ready for a 10 out of 10 performance. He has made Denver minus a 5 chipper!!!

1. Detroit @ Oklahoma City (12:05pm)

Westbrook was instrumental in a dominant win over the Warriors but there were two other factors which made the difference – defence and a little thing called help. Whenever the Warriors went on a run Paul George or Melo would come up with a big play to prevent any shift in momentum. They killed the Warriors 50-39 on the boards and restricted them to just 91 points. They have clearly taken a leaf out of the Celtics book in terms of slowing the pace and playing a different style to the Warriors. Detroit play at almost a snails pace coming in at 27th in possessions per game and with two of the better rebounding sides on display we should see a restricted amount of second chance points. The Under is 4-0 in Pistons last 4 road games and 7-0 in the Thunder’s last 7 against East teams. The Under is also 6-0 in the last 6 meetings which has The Wolf setting this total well below 200.

Tip: Under 203.5 points ($1.91)

2. Memphis @ Denver (1:05pm)

Get ready punters because The Wolf is ready to roll out all 5 chips and all the chasing chips behind them! Denver have been the definition of zigzag over the last fortnight. Here is a look at the margin in their last 6 matches: won by 17, lost by 17, won b by 32, lost by 18, won by 16 and lost by 30. Now they return home after a 3 game road trip and host a Grizzlies side that is in on a concerning losing streak. The Grizzlies are 0-6 both straight up and ATS in their last 6 with a average losing margin of over 8 points. Mario Chalmers is not the player we saw in Miami and with Conley still out The Wolf cannot get enough on the Nuggets!!!

Tip: Denver -6 ($1.92)

3. Chicago @ Golden State (2:35pm)

The Warriors were out-muscled and out-enthused by the Thunder but The Wolf said there is no need for concern. They get the perfect opportunity to bounce back against a youthful Bulls side that simply cannot get it done down the stretch. The Bulls are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road game but with the line this big The Wolf does not want to go near it. What he does want to do is have a real good crack at the Unders. The Under is 4-1 in the Warriors last 5 and 6-0 in their last 6 against teams with a losing record. The Under is also 4-0 in their last 4 after allowing 100+ in their previous encounter. Steve Kerr will be calling for defence following their sub par performance and with the Bulls averaging 94.4ppg (29th) you can be sure that they will not be going close to triple figures. This is the first of a back to back for the Warriors so you can be sure they will lock it up after 3 quarters and coast home with the starters on the bench. Unders.

Tip: Under 211.5 points ($1.91)
