NBA Tips – 20th November

With Durant out for the Warriors look for Steph Curry to shoot the lights out in Brooklyn while in Laker town can Lonzo Ball turn things around…

1. Detroit @ Minnesota (11:05am)

Detroit’s struggles on the road continued in Indianapolis where they surrendered a 22 point lead – losing the final quarter by an astonishing 17 points. The Wolf says it is a contributing factor to the line in this one being so big and he feels strongly that the bookies have over compensated with the line. The Pistons are 5-0 both straight up and ATS in the last 5 meetings and 7-0 ATS in their last 7 road games against teams with a winning home record. Drummond is averaging 18 boards a game in his last 5 and The Wolf expects him to do a stellar job on Towns. KAT has scored no more than 24 points in his last 5 against the Pistons with his numbers against them down across the board. Detroit are a chance at causing an upset.

Tip: Detroit +6 ($1.92)

2. Chicago @ Phoenix (12:05pm)

Two of the worst teams in the NBA lock horns and The Wolf is not expecting this one to reach any heights. The Bulls have offered very little on the road this season – in particularly on the offensive end. The Under is 5-0 in their last 5 following a ATS win and 5-0 in their last 5 on the road when facing teams with a losing home record. It is also 9-2 Under in their last 11 against West teams and 8-2 in their last 10 Sunday game. In case you didn’t notice the Wolf’s tip in this game is the Unders.

Tip: Under 217 points ($1.91)

1. Denver @ LA Lakers (1:35pm)

When these two face off it is more like a track meet than a basketball game. The Over is 8-0 in the last 8 meetings with the average score in the last 3 encounters coming in at 238 points. The Over is 17-4-1 in the Nuggets last 22 when facing teams with a losing record which lines up well with the Lakers 4-0 Over record in their last 4 home games. Denver put up 146 last time out against the Pelicans and they are starting to really get into a flow following wins in 6 of their last 8. If the Lakers are to compete they will have to put up a score of 120 or more.

Tip: Over 222.5 points ($1.91)
