Just two games leading into the All-Star break and after some outstanding results yesterday The Wolf is looking to add some icing on the cake prior to the break.
NBA Feature Previews
1. Denver Nuggets @ Milwaukee Bucks (12:05pm)
Milwaukee seem to be heading in the right direction winning 8 of their past 10 games, pushing themselves back into the conversation as one of the best in the East. But are they? The Wolf believes this is somewhat fools gold with 7 of these recent wins coming against sub 500 teams. Denver coming off impressive wins against the Spurs, Warriors & Thunder will offer the Bucks a real test and give a clearer picture of their status in the competition. The Bucks are just 9-15 ATS at home and with Denver’s comprehensive win here earlier this year, The Wolf is expects these young Nuggets to prevail.
Tip: Denver +3 ($1.92)
2. Los Angeles Lakers @ Minnesota Timberwolves (1:05pm)
The Lakers are finally coming of age, winning 7 of their past 10 and playing an exciting brand of basketball. However this is a terrible spot for this group. Playing their 3rd straight game on the road and will be on a B2B after battling the Pelicans last night. The Lakers are 2-6 in this spot & are 9-18 SU on the road. Minnesota defends its home court well with a 23-7 record SU and recent form going 4-1 ATS in the past 5. The Timberwolves will be rested and waiting. The Wolf senses these young Lakers will be eager to get back home to the sunshine of LA and enjoy the All Star festivities. Wolves by plenty!
Tip: Minnesota -10.5 ($1.92)
