NBA Tips – 16th April

Four more huge matchups on the way starting in Boston where the Celtics will have to find a way to overcome a growing list of injuries. We then head to Cleveland where The King will resume his rivalry with Lance Stephenson before two Western Conference showdowns in Oklahoma City and Houston.

NBA Feature Previews

1. Milwaukee @ Boston (Mon 3:05am)
The Bucks head to Boston and they could not have asked for a better draw. The Celtics have lost 4 of their last 6 and will be without Irving, Smart and Theis. There is no doubt that Brad Stevens will find a way to get the most out of his roster, but they will continue to struggle on both ends of the floor. Where they do have an edge in this series is in the paint. They will look to play through Baynes and Horford with Henson and Zeller no match. We will see the Celtics clog the paint and force Milwaukee to beat them from beyond the arc where they are 27th in makes and 22nd in percentage. The Bucks lack of presence down low has turned them into a serial Overs team. Over is 5-0 in their last 5 road games, 9-1 in their last 10 against East teams and 10-1 in their last 11 following a ATS loss. The Over is also 7-2-1 in the last 10 meetings. Overs!
Best: Over 201.5 points ($1.91)
Prop: Antetokounmpo 12+ rebounds ($2.50)

2. Indiana @ Cleveland (Mon 5:35am)
Wolfy is shocked to see how big a start the Pacers are getting! He is far from sold on the new look Cavs and says there is a reason why the Pacers won 3 of the 4 regular season clashes. They are damn good and are one the the best sides when it comes to defending the three ball – critical in achieving success against the Cavs. There is no double that LeBron will fill up the stat sheet but the current group is inferior to his previous supporting casts. The Pacers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 against teams with a winning record while the Cavs are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 when on 3 or more days rest. The Pacers have troubled the Cavs all season long and are also 4-1 ATS in their last 5 trips to Quicken Loans Arena. The upset is on the cards.
Tip: Indiana +6.5 ($1.92)
Value: Indiana WIN and Over 219.5 ($7.50)
Prop: LeBron James 30+ points ($1.85)
