NBA Tips – 13th February

Don’t forget the early games in the NBA today including the Cavs trip to the TD Garden. I have the Celtics taking care of business.

NBA Feature Previews

1. New York @ Philadelphia (11:05am)
This has got blowout written all over it. A skinny Knicks rosters finds themselves in Philly for the second of a back to back following a tough night in Indiana. They have now lost their last 6 going 1-5 ATS in that stretch and things are set to get worse for them. The 76ers have been on a roll at Wells Fargo Centre going 7-0 ATS in their last 7 at home and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 when facing teams with a losing record. Philly head into this one with a day between games, a real sweetspot for them this season, and are also 5-0 ATS in their last 5 against the Knicks. Philly by 20.
Tip: Philadelphia -11.5 ($1.92)

2. LA Clippers @ Brooklyn (11:35am)
There are two phenomenal statistics that The Wolf cannot ignore in this series. The Nets are 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings and furthermore an astonishing 16-1 ATS in the last 17 clashes in Brooklyn! The Nets gave up 138 to the Pelicans in a double OT loss but don’t be discouraged. They are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 after allowing 125+ points and 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Monday games. Dinwiddie delivered a double/double at $4 for us last time out and has posted 3 in his last 4. Look for him to play a pivotal role in a upset Nets win.
Tip: Brooklyn +4.5 ($1.92)

3. Orlando @ Chicago (12:05pm)
The Bulls will reportedly be without LaVine and Dunn which opens up the door for a in-for Jerian Grant. He is averaging 12/7/6 in his last 4 and will again get a chance to run the point for 35+ minutes. A shortage of numbers will translate into a slower pace at times which is great news for the Unders. The Under is also 7-0 in the Bulls last 7 against teams with a losing record and 4-1 in their last 5 at home. The Magic will play along… like the Bulls, the Under is 7-0 in their last 7 against teams with a losing record and 4-0 in their last 4 following a defeat. They won’t be going anywhere near this total.
Tip: Under 215 points ($1.91)
