NBA Feature Previews
1. San Antonio @ New Orleans (10:05am)
Both sides confirmed their spots in the postseason with wins in their respective previous matches but a lot goes on the line here. The winner will avoid a 1st round meeting with the Rockets or Warriors and will also be a shout for home court. The Pelicans have claimed w of the 3 season clashes and The Wolf says that should be no surprise as the Spurs have struggled against teams with a winning record all season long. They are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 road games while the Pelicans are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 to go with a 14-3 ATS record in their last 17 following a ATS win. The Pelicans are averaging 121ppg in their last 4 and San Antonio simply will not be able to go with them!
Tip: New Orleans -3.5 ($1.92)
2. Denver @ Minnesota (10:05am)
WOW! The playoffs start early for the Nuggets and Timberwolves with the winner to clinch a playoff spot. The Timberwolves have won 2 of the 3 season meetings but there has been nothing between them with the last meeting in Minnesota going to OT. The Nuggets have been on fire, winning their last 6 and really ramping things up on the defensive end over the last week. The Timberwolves on the other hand have just a 4-4 record over their last 8 but have posted two dominant wins since the return of Jimmy Butler. With everything on the line The Wolf is expecting both sides to be locked in defensively and that makes the Unders a great bet. Under is 5-1 in Timberwolves last 6 against West teams and 6-2 in the last 8 meetings between the two franchises. The Wolf is tipping the Nuggets to get through but has labelled the Unders as the must have bet in the must watch match!
Tip: Under 212 points ($1.91)
3. Utah @ Portland (12:35pm)
Another Western Conference matchup means more playoff implications and this one is no exception. The winner clinches the no.3 seed and home court while the loser could slide down as low as 6th. It is amazing that after 82 regular season games we will have 6 teams separating by just two wins! The Jazz were flawless in a 40 point win over the Warriors and have now won their last 6. The Blazers have lost their last 4, all on the road and will desperately want to earn home court for the opening round as a result. Home court has been a big factor in this series with the home team going 8-2 ATS in the last 10 clashes. With the Jazz going 0-4 ATS in their last 4 when on 0 days rest it shapes as the play but The Wolf says this one will be about the Unders! The Jazz rank second in opponent points per game, second in defensive efficiency and first in opponent field goal %. In addition, they rank 27th in possessions per game. In what will be a playoff style battle, The Wolf says to launch into the Unders!
Tip: Under 200 points ($1.91)
