NBA Tips – 11th April

The Wolf went a perfect 3-0 with his feature previews and is looking to keep the ball rolling on the penultimate day of the regular season.

NBA Feature Previews

1. Philadelphia @ Atlanta (9:35am)
The crowd are late to the party but they have finally joined The Wolf in his opinion that the 76ers are a legitimate threat to win the East. They got the better of the Cavs to take control of the no.3 seed and posted their 14th consecutive win last time out against Dallas. The Wolf continues to rave on about the additions of Ilyasova and Belinelli who have added close to a combined 5 made 3-pointers per game! It was an area that needed to be addressed and the addition of Fultz running the second unit has been yet another plus. They are 10-2 ATS in their last 12, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 when on 1 days rest. They may switch off late as they host the Bucks tomorrow but The Wolf says they will win and win easy.
Tip: Philadelphia -9.5 ($1.92)

2. Boston @ Washington (10:05am)
This has been a bitter rivalry in recent seasons and we may very well see them match up in the opening round of the playoffs. For that to happen the Wizards will have to win their two remaining games and get the Raptors to do them a favour by beating the Heat. Boston’s roster has been decimated by injury and it is the reason they have lost 3 of their last 4. Neither side takes a step back when these two meet with the Over going 8-2 in the last 10 meetings. The Over is 4-0 in the Wizards last 4 against teams with a winning record and 7-3 in their last 10 following a loss. Look for Washington to really push the tempo!
Tip: Over 206.5 points ($1.91)

3. Houston @ LA Lakers (12:35pm)
We have seen the Lakers take it to the Rockets this season, registering a win and forcing them to OT on another occasion. The key to their success surrounds their ability to defend the three. They rank 3rd in 3-point defence, holding their opponents to just 34.7% from beyond the arc. This will be nothing more than a training run for the Rockets while for the Lakers it is a chance to make one last impression before the season comes to an end. Rockets are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 when on 2 days rest and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 when taking on Western Conference sides. Furthermore, the Lakers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games when hosting teams with a road record above .600. The Wolf likes the Lakers with the start and for the outright win.
Tip: LA Lakers +9 ($1.92)
