The 76ers avoided the sweep but can they win in Boston and force a Game 6…
NBA Playoffs Previews
1. Philadelphia @ Boston (Thur 10:00am)
Philly coach Brett Brown earned himself a ‘tick’ for his Game 4 selections. He injected TJ McConnell into the starting line up and it paid immediate dividends. It wasn’t only the fact that he score 19 points, grabbed 7 boards and provided 5 dimes. His presence at the point allowed Simmons to establish himself in the paint and get some easy buckets. The rookie had struggled throughout the series but he will have grown in confidence – particularly after going 7 from 8 from the free throw line. Embiid has been dominant all series long but if they are to extend the series the shooters will have to play their part. Philly have shot just 29% from beyond the arc in this series and less than 42% from the field, yest they still average almost 4 more assists per game than the Celtics. Wolfy says this is the perfect spot for them to find fire. The 76ers are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 following a ATS win and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 following a double digit win. The Celtics are yet to lose at home in the playoffs this season but The Wolf says the 76ers have finally found their swagger again.
