Small card today but The Wolf is backing multiple outsiders to cover the spread.
NBA Feature Previews
1. Portland @ Oklahoma City (12:05pm)
Is Lillard still the Blazers best??? CJ McCollum is more than making a case to be the big dog in Portland. The Blazers have won 5 of their last 6 without Lillard including a 111-110 win over the Spurs – a match in which CJ hit the game winner. They now hit the road in Oklahoma City and The Wolf says to ride them with the big start. The Blazers are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 trips when playing teams with a home winning record. The Thunder on the other hand are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 at Chesapeake Arena and have had a bad habit of being complacent when heavily favoured. They are 4-16 ATS when starting as a 5-9 point favourite this season and in what The Wolf thinks will be a low scoring encounter they will cover the spread.
2. Orlando @ Dallas (12:35pm)
The wheels have really fallen off the Magic who have lost 13 of their last 14 and are 3-13 ATS in their last 16. They have been the best East teams to fade when on the road against Western Conference opponents. They are 0-4 in their last 4 road games and 0-6 in their last 6 against West teams. The Mavs are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 meetings and 4-1 ATS in the last 5 encounters in Dallas. The Magic will play 7 of their last 9 on the road and The Wolf can see things getting worse before they get any better. Something is not right in Disneyland.
3. Sacramento @ LA Lakers (2:35pm)
The Lakers losing streak came to an end and the will look to build on the win against a Kings outfit that are on the second of a back to back. They let a double digit lead go to waste against the Spurs and the bookies are writing them off as a result. This is the best time to be on them! They are 3-0 ATS in their last 3 when on 0 days rest to go with a 9-3-1 ATS record in their last 13 meetings with the Lakers. The men in purple and gold have had little to cheer about going 1-6 ATS in their last 7 against West teams and in their last 7 at home. The Lakers rank last in the league in relation to opponent points in the pain and with Sacramento getting 60.8% of their points from 2 pointers (2nd in NBA) The Wolf will be taking them at the line and outright.
