NBA Tips – 10th April

Some huge playoff battles on the way as Denver look to keep their playoff hopes alive!

NBA Feature Previews

1. Oklahoma City @ Miami (9:35am)
A 24 point loss to the Knicks smells like the Miami are looking to finish 7th in the East in order to avoid the Cavs and take on the wounded Celtics in the opening round. The Wolf says we will take advantage and back the truck up on a Thunder side looking to avoid playing the Warriors or Rockets. The Heat are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 and we have seen the Thunder post two very good road wins in the last week – in New Orleans and Houston. The stars come to the party when it counts and you can be sure that Westbrook will be doing everything in his power to help get the ‘W’.
Tip: Oklahoma City WIN ($1.70)

2. Portland @ Denver (11:05am)
The playoffs have started early for the Nuggets and a 5 game win streak has kept their hopes of a finals berth alive. The ‘do or die’ continues for them when they host the Blazers and The Wolf says we will continue to ride them. A win here would set up a winner takes all battle against Minnesota on the final day of the season, and what a contest it will be! The Blazers have struggled on the road losing their last 4 and Denver is far from the easiest place to win in. The Nuggets have won the last two meetings and their offence has been next to unstoppable over the last fortnight. Jokic is averaging 26 points, 13 rebounds and almost 7 assists in his last 6 so look for him to put on another clinic.
Tip: Denver WIN ($1.53)

3. New Orleans @ LA Clippers (12:35pm)
The Clippers push for a playoff spot came to an end following losses to the Jazz and Nuggets. They must now find a way to get up on the canvas and give their fans something to cheer about with two home games to close out the season. The Wolf says they will save themselves for a clash with the Lakers and says the Pelicans will pull out all of the stops. They now control their own destiny and wins over the Clippers and Spurs could see them clinch home court in the opening round. The flipside is that consecutive losses would likely see them miss the payoffs all together. Davis has led the pack and they have been in great form. They are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 road games and 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games following a ATS win. Anthony Davis is averaging 30 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks in his last 4 and Wolfy expects him to go just as big!
Tip: New Orleans -6.5 ($1.92)
