The Wolf tipped the Astros in game 3 and he’s aiming for another victory on Sunday. Game 4 is at Houston again and the Wolf provides his preview below.
Los Angeles Dodgers at Houston Astros (11:00am)
The Astros have turned around the series after two straight wins. They beat the Dodgers 5-3 at home on Saturday. They’re now 7-0 at home this postseason and they start as favourites in game 4. On the mound for the Astros is Charlie Morton. He’s coming off a great pitching performance in game 7 against the Yankees in the ALCS. So with the Astros potentially two games away from a World Series victory, the Wolf is tipping Morton will continue his form in game 4. For the Dodgers, Alex Wood is up for this game. This will be his second appearance of the postseason. He pitched against the Cubs and went 4.2 innings. But the Dodgers did lose 3-2. He also allowed 3 solo home runs in that game which is a concern against the Astros lineup. In terms of betting stats, the under total runs is now 6-1 in the last 7 games between the sides at Houston. But the Wolf is going to stick with the home side. The Astros have the momentum and they have dominated at home in the World Series and postseason overall. The Dodgers have used the bullpen extensively in the last two games. Which is a huge concern if Wood can’t go past the 5th inning. The Astros covered the handicap in game 3 and the Wolf is backing it here. He would also back the under total runs for a side bet. Also runs scored in the first inning is a good bet for no runs. In the home runs markets, Springer is the favourite in the betting. But there is value for Altuve who hits well at home and homered in game 2. For the Dodgers, Cody Bellinger is coming off 4 strikeouts so the Wolf would steer clear. Justin Turner and Yasiel Puig are the best bets in this market for the Dodgers.
