Another full card of MLB on the way and The Wolf cannot wait. HE is expecting the runs to dry up in Seattle and New York.

Chicago Cubs at New York Mets (9:15am)

Tip: Under 7.5 runs ($1.82)

The New York Mets will look to avoid a 3rd straight defeat when they host the Cubs on Sunday morning. Chicago has outscored them 12-5 in the previous two games, which made it 15 wins from 27 on the road in 2018. However, they will face a tougher challenge against deGrom. He pitched a complete game against them last season at this venue. In his last 14 innings against them at home, he’s allowed just 8 hits as well. His strong form has continued lately with just 9 hits allowed in two straight no-decisions over 14 innings. So the Mets lineup hasn’t given him much run support. To top it off, his ERA at home is just 1.45 in 5 starts. The total hasn’t gone over 8 runs in his last 7 starts so the Wolf is liking the unders for this matchup. Cubs starter Mike Montgomery started his season with a 5 hit, 5.2 inning outing against the Pirates. Since last season, his ERA is below 3 in his last 7 regular season starts. At this venue, the unders is showing a good trend as well. Since 2013, this matchup is 12-7-1 against the under at Citi Field. In overall games at Citi Field this season, the under is 15-11. So with a strong pitching matchup, the Wolf is predicting a low scoring game.

Tampa Bay Rays at Seattle Mariners (12:10pm)

Tip: Under 7.5 runs ($1.90)

The Wolf moves to Seattle as he looks at game 2 of this series between the Mariners and Rays. Seattle has enjoyed playing the Rays since 2016 as they hold a 9-3 record. But the betting is tight for this contest, mainly due to the pitching matchup. Mariners starter Marco Gonzales has come good lately after a tough start to May. Since allowing 10 total runs in 3 starts, his last 19.1 innings have seen 0 earned runs and just 11 hits allowed. This will be his first meeting against the Rays and he’ll be confident of keeping them quiet. Tampa has been a surprisingly good team on the road with a 17-14 record and they recently beat the Athletics 3-1 in a 4 game set. They will give the ball to Chris Archer who is also pitching well. His first start on this road-trip ended in a no-decision but he pitched strongly over 6 innings with just 4 hits allowed. Previously, he kept Boston to 4 hits as well. His record against the Mariners is also looking good with an ERA under 2 in his last 5 starts against them. So much like the Cubs/Mets matchup, the Wolf is liking the unders with two in-form pitchers on the mound. The under has a positive record at Safeco Field (15-13-1) in 2018 as well.
