The Wolf went 13-2 on Saturday in a massive day! The two losses were by a single run too. A day for the ages. Both best bets got the cash too.

TB Rays at Houston Astros (9:10am)

Tip: Astros WIN ($1.58)

Game two of this series will see Rays starter Blake Snell (4-6, 3.17 ERA) taking on the home town favourite Dallas Keuchel (8-12, 4.64 ERA). Snell is coming off a last game start against the Red Sox where he failed to finish five innings, the second time in his last three efforts. In a start against the Blue Jays earlier in the month he lasted just 1.2 innings, giving up five hits and two earned while walking four. That’s concerning form heading in to a crafty lineup like the Astros. Keuchel is slowly putting his record and ERA back together after an awful first half of the season. He is now 5-3 with a 3.56 ERA in his last 11 turns and had nine quality starts during that period. He hasn’t had much fun against Tampa though, owning a 4-0 record with a bloated 5.11 ERA. There are some trends in his favour though with the Astros 8-2 in his last 10 home starts vs losing record teams and 5-1 in their last 6 overall. If Keuchel can control the ball, the Wolf thinks the Astros should be able to get Snell benched early and win from there.

Cincinnati Reds at Arizona Diamondbacks (10:10am)

Tip: Over 9.5 runs ($1.83)

These two only just played each other last month in a three game series that ended with the Reds winning 2-1. Arizona were outscored 20-12 in that series and it was only a run blowup in game three for them that inflated that number to 12. The series result went against recent trends with Cincinnati only 2-6 in the last 8 meetings overall. The picture is a little different when playing in Arizona though with the Reds 17-7 in the last 24 games played there. The pitching matchup will see Anthony DeSclafani (7-2, 3.27 ERA) start for Cincinnati who is coming off a loss against the Dodgers. All of the runs come early in that game and he did well to hang tough and pitch through at least seven innings while striking out six. The snakes will send Zack Godley (4-2, 5.53 ERA) to the mound and his last performance was anything but god-ley. He allowed a massive seven earned runs on nine hits against the awful Braves lineup. Worth noting he beat the Reds in the previously mentioned series, their only victory of the series. Tipping runs on offer in this one, liking the over
