Sunday morning looks a tough card of MLB fixtures but The Wolf is always confident of turning a profit.

MLB Feature Previews

Oakland A’s at Chicago White Sox (9:10am)

Tip: White Sox WIN ($1.50)

Chris Sale (14-6, 3.30 ERA) dominated everyone that came before him to start the year but it’s been a very different story in the second half of the year. He is now in the midst of six start winless streak and struggling to get over that 15 game win hump. He is winless since the start of July and has dropped his last four decisions. The White Sox will need Sale to stand up in this one after getting belted 9-0 in the series opener on Saturday behind multiple home runs from the A’s line-up. The win for the A’s snapped a five game losing streak and will now have Ross Detwiler (1-1, 4.15 ERA) on the mound for game two. Detwiler who was acquired at the trade deadline will make his third start for Oakland and excelled in his debut for the A’s however was lit up in his second outing, going for five runs on seven hits through 4.2 innings. If you’ve followed the Wolf’s tips you would know he is a big fan of Sale and there is no hesitation in backing him in here to finally pick up that elusive 15th win for the season.

Milwaukee Brewers at Seattle Mariners (11:10am)

Tip: Mariners WIN ($1.48)

The Mariners held on for a 7-6 victory in the opener of this series after the bats come to life from the fourth inning. The Brewers did make a late charge in the top of the ninth with two runs which made the score line a little bit prettier than what it really was for Milwaukee. Game two will see the king Felix Hernandez (7-4, 3.34 ERA) going against Wily Peralta (5-8, 6.00 ERA). Hernandez hasn’t lost since late May and the Mariners are 5-1 in his last 6 starts and 6-0 in their last 6 home games overall. He is coming off a win against the Angels where he went 6.2 innings and allowed just two runs while striking out eight. Meanwhile Peralta is coming off his own win against the Reds, going six innings and allowing just one run from four hits. The Brewers are on a four game losing streak and don’t generally play well when Peralta pitches game two of a series, owning a 4-1 record when he does. With Felix on the mound at home there should be every confidence the Mariners can get the victory in this one.
