The Wolf is up off the bench and in the batter’s box. With 10 of the best to choose from we could see him go a perfect 10 from 10!

Cincinnati Reds at Chicago Cubs (Best)

Tip: Reds WIN ($2.95)

After losing their series against the Milwaukee Brewers, the Cubs will now welcome another NL Central rival to Wrigley Field in the form of the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds prop up the NL Central standings, some 31 wins behind the champion Cubs. Chicago are in the process of resting players in their lineup to freshen them up for a full tilt at winning the World Series which means opportunity for their opponents. Getting the nod for the home side is Jason Hammel (14-9, 3.60 ERA) who has gone through a recent rough patch. He’s given up 19 hits and 12 earned in just 11.1 innings, very different form to what he’s shown all season. He is just 1-4 in his last 5 starts overall and carries the same record following a team loss in their previous game. The Reds have made a habit of walking in to someone else’s yard and kicking the front door down recently, going 4-1 in their last 5 road contests when playing a team with a home win % greater than .600. Call the Wolf crazy but this is a good spot for a massive upset. Who doesn’t like an underdog play?

Arizona Diamondbacks at SD Padres

Tip: Over 8.5 runs ($1.87)

Just one day after putting 10 runs on the Dodgers, Arizona will now travel to San Diego to face the Padres in the opener of a three game series. The D’Backs have scored 55 runs in their last seven games and even though they have all come at home, there is a very solid chance that hitting form carries on to their road trip. Getting the ball for Arizona is Braden Shipley (4-3, 5.56ERA) who returns to the rotation after the snakes opted to shut down De La Rosa for the season. He’s given up 12 runs and 22 hits in just 13.1 innings in his last two starts. The over is 4-1 in his last 5 starts overall and it’s 4-1 in the snakes last 5 road games vs teams with losing records. Opposing Arizona will be Clayton Richard (2-3, 3.00 ERA) who is unbeaten in his last four turns. The over is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings between these two clubs at Petco Park and 21-8 in the last 29 overall. If you want to pick the winner, the lean is on the Padres with Richard holding a very good record against Arizona.
