On Friday, the White Sox are a good chance of an upset in the early games. In Boston, runs should flow between the Red Sox and Athletics. The same be said for the Yankees clash against the Orioles. In the later games, the Mariners should play well against the Rangers and the Wolf is backing them in. He’ll start with the red-hot Indians in Cleveland against the Royals.
Kansas City Royals at Cleveland Indians (9:10am)
The Indians win streak is at 21 games and the Wolf will see if they can make it 22 on Friday. Looking at the last series between the teams in Cleveland, the chances are very high. The Indians did not give up a run in 3 games as they outscored the Royals 20-0. The Indians are also 4-0 against the Royals in the last four games at home. On the mound, Josh Tomlin gets the ball and he’s won three straight starts at home. Overall, he has a 5-0 record and a 3.18 ERA in his last seven games. Against the Royals, his ERA in the last five games is 1.93. In his only start against the Royals at home this season, he pitched a complete game and only allowed 6 hits. The Indians won that game 10-1 and the Wolf can see a similar result here. The Royals lost two of three against the White Sox and they’ll face a tough challenge against the Indians. Jakob Junis is up for the Royals and he allowed 3 runs against the Tigers in his last road start. He hasn’t faced the Indians yet but his road ERA of 5.25 this season has the Wolf backing the Indians at the handicap.
Houston Astros at Los Angeles Angels (12:07pm)
The Angels are leading game 2 as the Wolf speaks and they’ll look for another upset on Friday. But the Wolf is looking for runs in this pitching matchup. Ricky Nolasco allowed 4 runs in his last home start, which was also against the Astros. The Astros won that game 7-5 and the over total saluted. The over total game score is also 3-0 in Nolasco’s last three starts at home. While for the Astros, Brad Peacock has pitched three straight no-decisions. He doesn’t have a great record against the Angels as he owns a 4.68 ERA in his last 5 starts against them. In Anaheim, the Angels are 2-0 against him and they’ve scored 7 runs in both games. In the last game, the total runs reached 13 runs. So the Wolf is going for runs and the over total game score.
